You're ready to become a Reiki teacher, and you want more than just the knowledge of how to perform initiations— you want to master the art of teaching. At our Reiki School, we combine deep, authentic Reiki wisdom with practical training in lesson planning, classroom management, and student engagement.

Reiki Teacher Training

A Reiki Teacher Training program that covers not only the essential elements of the system of Reiki, but also, the fundamentals of teaching and course development. It is created with the aim to provide the teacher with the foundational knowledge needed to hold a learner centred environment while allowing for the teacher to weave their own gifts into the program.

This program sets itself apart by offering a comprehensive approach to becoming a well-rounded Reiki teacher. While learning to perform initiations and to teach the symbols is essential, it’s only one piece of the puzzle. Our program dives deeper into the art of teaching itself—covering how to design lessons, manage class dynamics, and foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment. This holistic approach creates confident, empowered teachers who are fully prepared to lead with both expertise and heart.

At the Centre, we believe learning should be transformative and fun, and as teachers, we embody that balance. With a combined 28 years of experience teaching Reiki, we bring not just deep expertise but a bit of irreverence and a ton of life experience into every class. One of us is steeped in the rich history, origins, and esoteric meaning of Reiki, while the other has over 25 years of professional teaching experience. Together, we create an environment where learning Reiki feels approachable, profound, and enjoyable.

What is Grounding and Why Does it Matter?

Everything in the universe is made of atoms and atoms are held together by electricity; therefore, human beings contain electricity. Quite a bit of it. “Scientists agree that the human body at rest can produce 100 watts of power on average. This is enough electricity to power up a light bulb. Some humans have the ability to output over 2,000 watts of power, for instance if sprinting.”

From Practitioner to Teacher

After discussing it with our graduates, we realized that most of them had built a strong Reiki practice, and had incorporated it into their lives. They knew the value of the practice. The problem was this - they didn’t know how to teach.

Reiki and the Hara

Want to quit coffee? Focus on your Hara, Charge your Tanden. Maybe the word I talk about the most in class is “The hara”. The hara is your inner battery is, and knowing how to charge it is a super power.
